home ventilation

Condensation control is something we tend to think about every winter as we look at our wet windows, puddles on the window sills and feel the dampness creeping in. It can also result from bathrooms, cooking, laundry and gas heating. Moisture in the air condenses when it comes into contact with cold surfaces, including your walls and furniture often leaving telltale signs such as mould and mildew. This not only effects your environment, but moist stale air can directly affect your health.

With a home ventilation system dry filtered air gently pumps through your home eliminating damp moisture laden air. If the air is below 10 degrees it can be slightly heated to remove the chill or on the hot stuffy days/evenings fresh air is pulled in and circulated around your home.

The steady movement of air will help to control the amount of condensation building up in your home or help those hot sticky summer nights creating an overall more pleasant atmosphere.

It's fairly cheap to run starting at around 5c per day and a dry home is easier to heat, making the whole system very economical.

heat transfer

Gently draws warm air from a heated area and pumps it into cooler areas of the home. For example heat from the lounge transferred to a hallway or bedrooms. It works using ducting and a fan in the roof space with vents in the ceiling. This system works especially well for homes with fireplaces.

Options include thermostats and electronic speed control of the fan to optimise performance.
